Will my restrictions password transfer?
I have an iPhone 4s, I'm getting an iPhone 5s or 6. I currently have a restrictions password but I don't remember what it is. Will the password transfer to my new phone? I was told the password stays with your Apple ID.
I don't think so. My iPod Touch is registered to somebody else's Apple ID, and their password on their other devices don't change when I change mine on my iPod Touch. IOS 4 may be the reason behind this though, as it is 2nd gen iPod Touch which is 3 gen's behind. If you can't remember the password, isn't there a reset feature or something?
- Is there a way i could remove my restrictions password from my iphone 4? I let my little brother mess around with my iphone 4 and when i got it back the app store and safari were gone. I figured out he turned on restrictions and when i asked him what the password was he didn't remember. So now i basically have nothing to do on it.
- I set an iPhone restrictions password on my phone, but forgot it? My younger nephew was borrowing my phone for the week, so I turned restrictions on. But, I forgot the password. I have 9 failed attempts, what happens if I get to 10? I know the phone will be wiped, but does that mean everything will be put to factory settings, or that I can't use my phone at all, or I won't be able to guess the password anymore? Sidenote- Non-jail broken iPhone 3GS, iOS 6.0.1. And I don't own a computer and I can't restore it from one anyway.
- I need to figure out how to find my restrictions password on my iphone? A while back i watched a video and got my password. It used the backup data from the iphone and was able to find the stored password in the backup. Now i need help i can't rember what windows program and can't find the video. Need some help i really need this password.
- I forgot my restrictions password on my iPhone? I set a restrictions password and blocked deleting apps. I forgot it and I'm stuck with no storage left. Is there anyway to get past this?
