Will my sim only contract work on an iphone?
My friend gave me his old iphone 4 today as he bought a new one. I'm currently on an 02 sim only contract for £10 a month that my Mum pays for me. I includes unlimited texts, 300 minutes and unlimited 02 to 02 calls. Will I be able to transfer this same sim only contract to my iphone? Also, how much roughly would it cost to have a new screen fitted?
No. Once you get an iPhone every information or plans you have will reset. There's nothing you can transfer over to your iPhone.
- Will out of contract Verizon iPhone4s work with foreign sim? I'm traveling to England for about two months and I would like to take a smartphone. However I have AT&T iPhone 4s and it is not out of contract therefore I can't get it unlocked and put in a SIM card from the UK. My friend has offered me her old iPhone 4s and she is with Verizon. I'm not familiar with Verizon at all so I'm not sure if I can slap a SIM card in there or if Verizon will unlock it if I call and get the codes like I could with AT&T.
- Will I be able to transfer my contract from a regular Sim card to a Micro Sim card? I want to buy an iPhone 4S on T-mobile, but my current T-mobile sim card is a regular one that would not fit in to the iPhone 4S. Would I be able to somehow move my contract on to the new Micro Sim?
- Will an orange pay as you go sim card work in my iphone orange contract phone? My orange phone is still in contract but could do with a different number on pay as you go as well, would rather just get the sim card and swap them over, but can always buy a cheap phone as well
- Will a blackberry sim card work in an iPhone 4 if we cut the sim? My friend has a blackberry and wants to buy an iPhone 4 off someone he knows. I have a micro sim cutter that I used when I went from iPhone 3G to iPhone 4. If we cut down his sim it will fit in the iPhone, but will he still be able to use Internet and call people? Also, would his network provider be able to send him a new iPhone sim but with the same tariff? Cheers
