Will my text messages still be on my iPhone?
Thursday, the power button on my iPhone 4S completely broke. It was not dropped or anything, just broke randomly. I ended up using the assistant touch thing, and going to device and tapping lock screen. I was playing around with assistant touch and accidentally hit 3 finger gestures. I couldn't even touch my phone. I took it to AT&T Saturday and they told me it wou, d have to be sent to apple, and that I will get a brand new iPhone Wednesday. I know I probably have quite a few text messages, and I'm just wondering if they will be there when I get it back? I'm pretty sure it will be just like having a brand new iPhone, no numbers or anything. I know I cold use icloud, but I never use Wi-Fi so I don't know if it backs it up and it wasn't backed up to iTunes. So will I be able to see my text messages?
They should be if you have the same sim? Did you take the sim out? If you did all your texts should be still on the sim but your sim should still be in the phone. Let your friends know over a social networking site
- Why is my iPhone5 sending some messages as iMessage and others as Text Messages? I understand that messages are sent as Text Messages when there's no signal or poor Wi-Fi connection. However, I'm successfully texting some people using iMessage but others (still iPhone users) as Text messages. The other person will send iMessages and then my responses will be sent as green Text Messages.
- When I receive text messages with emojis from an iPhone, why do the messages only appear partially? My phone is a "Verizon Samsung Intensity II" slide phone. (Also it's blue but that doesn't matter.) Also, if I'm included in an iPhone group chat (spoiled rich friends, but not snobby…), I get each posted message as a separate message, so I'll end up randomly with 67 unread messages clogging up my inbox.
- Iphone 5 not receiving text messages from other iPhone? Ir receives iMessage perfectly fine when I'm connected to Wi-Fi but when I don't have Wi-Fi I turn iMessage off and switch to text but when I do that I NEVER get the other iPhone's messages until I switch onto Wi-Fi with iMessage. Why is it doing this? If I turn cellular on then it automatically switches to iMessage and I don't want it to do that, I just want to TEXT. And it's on the "send as sms when imessage isn't available" setting too.
- If I turn off push messages on my iphone 4 will I still get my regular text messages? I read that turning off push messages or setting them to manually helps save battery life. I want to know if I do this will I still be able to receive my regular text messages.
