Will my texts be saved when I change iPhones?

I'm going to upgrade my iphone4 to a new iphone4 but I don't want to loose any of my texts, I have ICloud back up but I don't know if that includes all my texts? If not how can I do this?

Sadly, no.

No ICloud does back up your text massage so store your massage on your sim card if any.

If you would like to keep text messages and other stuff as well, plug your phone into your computer and launch iTunes. Then, you can right click on your device when it is listed on the left-hand side. Click the option to back up and then when you get your new phone, connect it to iTunes. It will ask you if you would like to set up as a new iPhone, or restore from a backup. Select the backup from your old phone, and all your messages will be on your new phone.

  • Why does my iPhone sometimes send texts to other iPhones as iMessages then regular texts to iPhones? Like when I send a text to my friend that has an iphone, it usually sends as an iMessage then it will randomly send as just a regular text and it will be green and not blue.

Why when my mate text me from his iPhone did I receive it still on my iPhone and not the phone with the sim card in.   • When I change iphones, do I lose all my texts? I spilt hot chocolate all over my iphone 5 and it now doesn't turn on. My friends told me that they were texting me like crazy, but I obviously couldn't get them. I ordered another iphone 5, but I'm just wondering if when I change my sim card over to my new one, does all of my texts that I haven't received yet go onto my new phone? Or do I lose them? And do you know if there's anything else I can recover or do I lose everything?
  • People with iPhones don't receive my texts? I had an iPhone 4 (at&t) then I put the micro SD card into my new Nokia Lumina 520 windows phone (its a go phone I got from best buy no contract) and for some reason all my friends with iPhones don't get my texts although I can get theirs. Any ideas why? Any help please?
