Will restoring my iPhone screw up my number or anything?

I recently got an iPhone 5c from my dad. I've had it since late April and it's been working fine. Just today, it's starting to act up (just like my iPod Touch). I can't sync music onto it, no matter what I do. I've been suggested to do a hard reset on my phone, shut down my laptop, and keep my autolock on never but none of it has worked. When my iPod Touch was acting like this, I simply restored it and it synced. I would do it on my iPhone but I just want to make sure nothing will happen with my number or carrier. I already have a backup of it and I know how to get everything back on it but I was just wondering if it will screw up anything related to my service/number. My dad lives in another city so I don't know if he bought it from our carrier (AT&T) or if he bought it from an Apple store.

No worries. The number will not erase. Just the data, music docs, apps, etc…

It wouldn't mess up your service number. It only erases all your data

  • Will updating Iphone 3GS to ioS 6.0 ruin screw up my jailbreak? I don't know how to ask this… Sorry if my wording makes no sense. I have an Iphone 3GS, and I want to update it iOs 6.0, but won't that take the jailbreak or whatever off? And I will have to jailbreak it again?
  • Will restoring my Verizon iPhone remove my number and/or service? So, I have a Verizon iPhone 4S. It doesn't have a SIM card, because Verizon runs on CDMA. I was wondering, if I restored it through iTunes, would it get rid of my number/service? Any help would be appreciated.
  • Super Glue stuck in iPhone screw So I was about to replace the digitizer to my phone because of an unresponsive screen and I start unscrewing the first screws at the bottom of the phone and find out one of my screws was stripped! I have never even touched the screws, but I'm assuming when I tried to sell my iphone with uSell.com that the technicians there did and I tried the super glue trick to unscrew the screw but all I got was super glue stuck in the screw… How do I get that out?!
