Will the iphone 5 be 4g on three?

I have been reading online that the iphone 5 doesn't work on vodka phone and O2 4G for some reason… Is this the case with the network three as well?

In short Orange /TMobile aka EE jumped the gun and used its ORIGINAL 1800Mhz which I understand is NOT the best frequency to use… EVER

Apple are the ONLY phone maker NOT to have released a 4G Ready phone so call me a cynic (but there will be a wake up call for those IP5 owners on Yodafone who will NEED O2, when they realise that All iPhone5 where ever sourced are only 4G on Kevin's EE network as they wrongly assumed that being 4G meant 4G READY which is does but NOT in the orchard)

It is known well in advance UK 4G LTE SAMSUNG, Nokia Sony & BB ( who disappeared for a year working on the Z10) etc All released 4G LTE phones, 4G Ready

Apple IP5 just the1800Mhz antennae was installed

So everybody else fitted their 4G phone out with the 2 other FREQUENCIES that could be used
the 800mhz and the 2600 Mhz ( that is why you don't see 4G READY in those magazine.

I ( I as in me NOT I as in Apple) think that 3 will follow 02 & Yodafone in using the other BETTER frequency so your IP5 will not be 4G LTE***

The IP5S is I'm told a 4G LTE READY phone, so if you have a IP5 on any network other than EE you will only be 3G

***This is NOT an answer I can tell you is correct it has a 49% certainty of being right or wrong

There's NO upgrade afaik as this is a hardware issue so only if Three use the 1800Mhz band as that is the ONLY antennae physically installed in the IP5 will your IP5 be 4G

ON 20/09/2013 LESS/ MORE CONFUSION
To add to this the IP5C the the more expensive! (premium?) plasticised version of the IP5 will become available

IT EITHER COMES 4G READY or NOT

If the IP5C has the EXACTLY the same specs as the IP5 it will only be 4G LTE on EE…
so 3 /Yoda/ O2 need to know
as ONLY the IP5S (ker ching) wil then be 4G LTE READY

I really do hope that Apple put customers before profit
