Will the iphone 5c and 5s be able to ios 8?
The new iphone 6 had a new and larger bulid to it, and rumors say it will come with ios 8. Will the iphone 5c or 5s be able go update to ios 8?
Yes, and most likely ios 9 as well
The iPhone 6 will come with iOS 8.
iPhone 2G - iOS 1
iPhone 3G - iOS 2
iPhone 3GS - iOS 3
iPhone 4 - iOS 4
iPhone 4s - iOS 5
iPhone 5 - iOS 6
iPhone 5c, s - iOS 7
iPhone 6 - iOS 8
As far as the 5c & 5s going to iOS 8, definitely. The iPhone 4 would likely stop at whatever ends up being the last version of iOS 7 prior to 8. The rest should continue on to 8.

- Will I be able to get ios 7 on an iphone 5? This is probably a silly question but if I buy an iphone 5 tomorrow, will I be able to get ios 7 on it once it's released in the fall? Or will I have to get the next iphone that comes out instead of the 5 in order to get ios7?
- When iOS 7 is released to the public, will I be able to activate my iPhone 4? I was trying to downgrade to 6.1.3 and iTunes went to verifying with Apple, then I got the activation error. I was wondering if I will be able to activate after Apple releases iOS 7 to the public.
- Today my dad upgraded to an iphone 10, and because he has the forever iphone plan he was able to keep his old phone and he gave it to me? I synced all of my apps and contacts from my old phone, a samsung, to the new one, when I texted one of my friends, I found out I was sending messages through my icloud address and I had no service. Is this something I'll have to call my carrier about to switch my number, or can it be done manually and from the phone's settings. If the it's the latter, what steps would I have to take?
