Will updating to IOS 7 beta 6 erase my flash?
I have an iPhone 4S flashed to T-Mobile heres how to install it but i don't know if it will erase my flash and i'm already on 6.1.3 so i can't jailbreak.
Step 1: Launch iTunes and connect your iPhone with your PC via USB cable.
Step 2: Right click on your iDevice on iTunes and take a backup (or backup to iCloue)
Step 3: Restore your iPhone to iOS 6.1.3 (or 6.1.4 if you have iPhone 5)
Step 4: Set up as new iPhone - do not restore from backup.
Step 5: Hold down the Option key in OS X (Windows use Shift key) and click on "Update" not on "Restore"
Step 6: Select the iOS 7 beta file you downloaded, updating the device to iOS 7 beta. Done.
By updating to iOS 7 you will only write over the previous iOS. In this case 6. You are only updating the operating system. Your not updating hardware.

- Trying to update my iPhone 4 to iOS 7 beta 5, but not updating? I downloaded the iOS 7 beta 5 CDMA file off of ios7stuff.com and I tried updating my phone with the file and my iTunes has been saying "Verifying updated iPhone software" for almost 20 minutes, and my phone screen turned black with the Apple and updating status bar but the update isn't starting. Help! and I do not have a UDID I also have been using iOS 7 beta 3 for a while but it didn't update to beta 4 or 5 which is why I tried downloading beta 5 directly.
