Windows Media Player encountered a problem while playing the file?
I uploaded videos from my iPhone 4s to my computer and other videos uploaded but a certain one did not. It was 7 minutes and I have uploaded longer videos to my computer. It says its a Quicktime Movie (.MOV) Just like the other videos. I went on properties and the size was 638 MB (668,991,500 bytes). I don't know what that means. Yesterday it was saying "Windows Media Player can't play the file. The Player might not support the file type or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file" But now it is saying "Windows Media Player encountered a problem while playing the file." Please help?
Use VLC, it's better http://www.videolan.org/vlc/
Try using QuickTime Player: http://www.apple.com/.../download/
Or VLC Media Player: http://www.videolan.org/vlc/
Both of them can play.mov videos but i would recommend u using VLC Media player.
Hope this helps!
Install this.

Then your media player will have the correct codec files to play basically anything, select the advanced install and deselect the other stuff it want to install and then leave everything else at default settings.
