Wireless internet connection issue
Hi, so recently i have been noticing some serious issues with my wireless internet dropping out on my laptop. It seems to drop out more when i'm on skype which is very annoying and originally i was lead to believe skype was the issue but now i realize it also happens when i'm off skype. There are 3 other devices connected to the internet at a time but that can be fixed (iPhone, iPod & another laptop) which all do not experience drop outs so i believe its not an issue with the modem router. If anyone could please provide some help as i have looked around on forum posts and have not been able to resolve my problem. I will provide some more details to hopefully help you fix my issue.
Modem Router: Billion BiPac 7700n
Broadband: Internode- 150gb
Location of Router: Directly below me on the 1st floor (I'm on 2nd floor)
Have you tried Ethernet connection: no i haven't but i'm able to if needed
Network adapter: Intel Centrino Wireless-N 2230
Laptop operating system: Windows 8 64-bit
Anti-Virus program: Free Avast

As you are using avast. There's an option in avast to enable or disable network lock. Check that may be someone or you yourself accidentally activate the network lock. In the Task-bar Tray, right click on the avast icon. And then check that if there's an option to ''disable network lock'', then disable it. If it shows ''enable network lock'', then problem will not that.
Go to the Control panel, in internet option, under the Advance tab, Click on Restore Default Settings. Then click on Reset.

- Wireless internet connection won't work on any device? My broadband connection works just fine, but the wireless connection won't work. All the devices I;ve tried are two laptops (Vaio) an iPad, and three iPhone 5's. When this happens, I usually just turn the router of and on again, but that won't work. I've connected my laptop to broadband to ask this question, by the way. It's on and all the devices can see it, but when I try to join, they say unable to connect. I don't have a password
- Windows 7 laptop wireless connection problem I restored my computer a day ago because it was bringing the blue screen of death. After the restore, when I logged on and tried to connect to the internet it says no network connection. "The laptop will access the internet with a wired connection only. It now indicates there are no wireless networks to join even though" there's a modem in my house which i can connect to through my iphone.
- Slow wireless connection to my iPhone? It's 0752 so it can't be all the beighbours downloading and my computers turned off, the router is just sat there as normal, nothing has been changed but the wireless connection on my iPhone is really slow. I'm using it in the same room as the router. Any ideas what it could be? Happens all the time, in and hour or two I'll try it and it will be fine.
- Net connection issue with my iphone? I have a broadband connection in my home with D Link Dir 816 Wi-Fi router. The problem i'm facing is that when i browse on my laptop with windows 10 i don't face any issue but when i use my iphone on the same network the internet connectivity drops after some time. Then after some more time ( typically after 30-45 minutes) it again has net connection on my iphone. I'm totally confused about this issue. I also have tried with different router of tp-link.
