Is it worth it to get an iPhone just for the camera?
I have a couple cameras, my best being a Nikon D5500 with a few lenses, but I don't always have it with me. IPhone cameras are really good, but I use a Samsung Galaxy and the cam era is trash. Do you think it would be worth getting one to have as a quick to pull out camera?
As a quick pull-out camera, iphone is really nice. As a professional camera though, you're better off slugging around a good one.
I think an ordinary point and shoot digital camera would be better and less expensive in most cases, if that's literally all you want the iPhone for then a $100 camera would do the same thing but probably have a better lens than the 12MP one the iPhone 7 has.
The iPhone has a great camera for a phone. I wouldn't spend the money on one unless I also needed a new phone.
Get a decent point & shoot camera.
No
Why? If you have a decent enough camera (Nikon D5500, perhaps with the very versatile kit lens), then it's up to YOU to make certain you do have it with you ever time you step outdoors. IF, you can't or don't want to, then your next best bet would be a relatively good point-and-shoot camera so you don't miss those unexpected opportunities that we find when we're without a camera (frustrating, isn't it?) You should know what to look for in a point-and-shoot. And while they can't compete with DSLRs, at least you know its limitations and can work around the limitations to create better images. Think about it; don't just get any point-and-shoot camera.
NO!
If thats what you want then yea the iPhone would be a good point & shoot. You could look into an iPod touch to see if it is good enough as well. Cheaper too.
Personally, no.
I'd rather bring a point-and-shoot around instead.
No. Get the iPhone also for other things.
You're joking?
iPhones aren't cheap, and there's a monthly fee…
They make point & shoot cameras that are close to the same size.
- Which is the best camera (Canon or Nikon) for a beginner who's just started get into Photography? I'm willing to pay for the price between $400-$600. perfect for beginner high resolution superior video capacity easier to learn customization (not a requirement) top images quality easier to transfer photos and videos from the camera to both MacBook and iPhone superior low-light performance quick shutter speed long lasting battery
- Which camera is better: An old General Imaging x500 Digital Camera or an iPhone 7 front camera? It looks like an iPhone only offers 7 MP while this camera boasts 16 MP but this camera is so old and looks worse at least on its own screen. I'm confused
- Should I bring my laptop to school for a camera or just get a camera? I'm doing a video should I bring my laptop (I don't wanna loose it) or should I just get one btw i can't afford one and no i can't use iphones or ipods and stuff like that i can only use normal tape recorders do you thinks its ok to bring my laptop or should i just get a camera?
- Just experts in camera. I'm looking for a cool camera not so expensive like $250-$350? I want a camera that if I print it, it will look in HD. And also easy to understand. I had an Olympus Stylus 1010 and their pictures were good. But I would like to have another one because that one is too old. Please tell me I want to have a camera because the photo from the iPhone are the ugliest.
