Worth it for me to move to T-Mobile?
I have a bit of indecision right now and need some help figuring this out. Currently, I'm on my family's Verizon cell phone plan, but it's getting to that time where I need to get my own. I'm very intrigued by T-Mobile, especially with their recent announcement about buying out contracts. The first thing I would need to do is separate my current line from my families on verizon so I become the primary account holder for a plan. I'm assuming them my contract would be somewhere around $85 a month with a (stupid) iPhone 4 8GB that I can upgrade in August. So then, if I switch to T-Mobile, they pay my early termination fee, I trade in my iphone for maybe around $50, get a new phone I can pay off in 24 months, and it looks like my plan (with a potential discount because I'm a starbucks partner) will be $51 a month with an added $20-25 a month for the phone, and $50-$60 up front. I'm just trying to work out if this is the right move for me financially, and if it's my best option. Any piece of wisdom is greatly appreciated. Just to give you a little more financial background, I'm working at starbucks and paying off 2 credit cards currently.
Sounds like to have a great understanding of your choice, I agree that Verizon is way over priced I prefer t-mobile.
I'm happy with t-mobile, I have been with them since 1998, LOL.
Don't get t mobile. Horrible service and horrible customer service. I switched to AT&T. Much better then t mobile. And they also have good prices.
Listen to the other Answerer they are saying the truth I used to have T-Mobile and switched because of their horrible coverage you can have 4G in the cities but leave the city and you'll have 2G everywhere now on the other hand with AT&T I have 4G everywhere even the places you would expect would have no service what's so ever
- Will Boost Mobile work for me and is it worth it? I just bought an unlocked iPhone 6 from Apple and was thinking about going with Boost Mobile. Will I be able to activate the unlocked iPhone with boost mobile at all?
- Virgin Mobile iphone 4s: Does it work on T-mobile? If I purchased the unlocked iphone 4s from Virigin mobile would I be able to use it on T-mobile? Does anybody know if the virigin mobile iphone has a spot for a sim card like the ones T-mobile uses?
- Reuse T-Mobile cut-to-use-for iPhone SIM card back to regular T-Mobile phone? Is that possible? My SIM card has been cut to fit on iPhone but I'm going to sell it next month to go back to regular T-Mobile phone. I still have the cutout piece from original T-Mobile SIM Card. Can I re-attach micro SIM to original T-Mobile card and use it on new T-Mobile phone, or would I have to buy the new SIM card and activate it again on pay-as-go-plan?
- It the virgin mobile non-contact iphone 4 worth buying? So I want to get the iphone 4 from target, but I'm not very happy about the price tag ($549.99 + $35 a month with 300 min. With Unlimited messaging and data) That's a *** load of money for one phone, but I like the plan though. Should I get the iphone or get some other non-contract phone from the target store?
