It the virgin mobile non-contact iphone 4 worth buying?

So I want to get the iphone 4 from target, but I'm not very happy about the price tag ($549.99 + $35 a month with 300 min. With Unlimited messaging and data) That's a *** load of money for one phone, but I like the plan though. Should I get the iphone or get some other non-contract phone from the target store?

No. Virgin mobile has some of the worst phones. I bet their new iPhone isn't going to work properly like their other phones

I know up it sounds like a lot, but it in the end it is cheaper than most other offers.

Eh, in the long run you will save money with the Virgin Mobile one, as compared to contract.

Also, if you hook up monthly payments to your credit card, they only charge $30 a month.

What works out pretty well is buy the iphone and apple care for $99.

Thats two years of guaranteed phone.

$650/2 = $325 a year before tax.

For me, I would buy an android about twice a year for about $150 a phone [I go through phones fast] because they were pretty cheap.

So it works for me.

Our 2 teens just switched over from SPRINT Family Plan and each bought $650 white Apple iPhone 4s with Siri on no contract VIRGIN MOBILE from Best Buy. They save some from buying Best Buy gift cards at 80% on Craigslist. They are HAPPY and SMILING and also bought great looking custom cases and we will also be buying $99 Applecare. Reception is terrific and they have unlimited text and DATA for like only $30 per month <= paying via credit card ($32 with taxes) however we will be upgrading daughter to $40 monthly plan at end of 1st 30 days bec 300 minute VM plan does not offer free nights & weekends calling.

I couldn't justify spending $650 for iPhone 4s or $550 for iPhone 4 so I also switched over to Virgin Mobile and went with highest rated Android HTC EVO V 4G that costs $299 less Best Buy gift cards that daughter found on Craigslist Seller. Android on credit card for 300 minutes, unlimited text and unlimited data is $37.25 monthly with taxes.

Before we were paying $116 monthly with taxes and 25% corporate discount for SPRINT Family Plan 1500 minutes & unlimited text but no data. My wife still has 8 months remaining on her 2 year contract but we changed her Sprint plan to Individual 450 minutes that costs $45 plus taxes with 300 text messages monthly.

The choice to use Virgin Mobile or some other carrier is your decision and you are doing the right thing to inquire and conduct market research feedback on checking what the consensus and satisfaction level of VM customers…
