Worth it to buy iPhone 5 now?

I've had an iPhone 4s for almost two years now (it replaced a stolen iPhone 4) and I have had no problems with it aside from the occasional app crashes, and starting recently, the phone will freeze for a few seconds, sometimes to where I have reboot the device. Would it be in my best interest to wait until the iPhone 6 is released? Or just pick up the iPhone 5 when the price drops? (I'm not eligible for an upgrade for two years-- my brother used my last one) On the other hand, is the iPhone 5s worth the extra cash? I love iOS because of its simplicity and flawlessness (in my personal opinion!). I'm an avid "smartphone photographer" and I've been perfectly happy with my 4s's camera but ready to upgrade. I understand that some Android phones (e.g. HTC One) have amazing cameras, and I've done research, but Apple's operating system is definitely for me. Any suggestions?

Added (1). I'm perfectly aware and up to date on the new iPhone 5c and 5s and their specs. I have been religiously researching to make this decision. My question is whether or not the 5s is actually worth the extra cash for the new specs compared to those of the seemingly very similar iPhone 5.

Wait until the iphone 6 even tho sometime this year or in a couple of monthes there's gonna be a iphone 5s which is somehow better. So there isn't gonna be that long until a new update one so just wait until that one is out.

If you have 4S, then I would say yes, get a 5S or 5C.

If getting on contract then go with 5S. The 5S hardware is twice as fast and is 64bit (and thats the only 64bit smartphone on the market today).It also has the aluminum casing, is a little larger (like 5) and fingerprint scanner which is what I like. I also like that you don't even press the home button (won't wear it out) as the fingerprint is automatically recognized when you just put it over it.
