Would AT&T s Insurance Replace An Android With An iPhone?

For Christmas, I had gotten a Samsung Infuse 4G smartphone. It is a great phone. But this summer around a week ago I dropped the phone and the screen now has a crack in it. I looked up the insurance deductible and it is a tier 3 ($199). Don't get me wrong it has been a great phone but Androids freeze, you can't group message, no emoji's and little things that the iPhone can do that it can't. I'm wondering if (seeing AT&T doesn't carry the Infuse 4G anymore) if i could just get an iPhone? I mean the deductible is the highest there's, would that mean i get to pick pretty much any phone i want. If this helps, the iPhone is a tier 3 deductible also.

The best thing to do would be to call and ask your local store.

No, it will replace a like phone with a like phone.

The replacement phone will be a refurbished model, so the fact that if AT&T no longer carries the Infuse 4G, that will not matter, there are plenty of refurbished models out there, and even if they had no Infuse 4G phones to send out as a replacement, they would send a comparable model out as a replacement, and it is highly unlikely they would even give you a say for the replacement model.

  • Would I get an iPhone 5 through insurance? My iPhone 3gs was stolen about 3 months ago. I have been waiting to replace it but my insurance gave me a date that I could replace it on without having to cancel my whole insurance plan out, and it has passed. As you all know, the iPhone 5 has been recently released, and I want to know if I can get the iPhone 5 under the same deductible price of 199$
  • Will Sprint insurance replace my iPhone? My iPhone 5 screen cracked the other day. I pay about $24 for insurance for two iPhones (12 each) and I was wondering if they will replace my broken one? They did replace my other iPhone which was acting up before but wasn't broken.
  • Will my insurance cover battery replace my for my iPhone 6 plus? I have Verizon and I have the 11.99 insurance, unless I read over it I didn't see anything about it. My battery drains really fast while I'm at school and not using it much. Is there anything else that could be wrong with it?
  • Will Apple replace my iPhone 5 if I don't have insurance? I've had my iPhone since Christmas and I didn't get the insurance on it. The top power button doesn't work, will Apple replace my iPhone even though I don't have the insurance? Or will I have to pay full price for a whole new iPhone?
