Would I burn my eyes if I look at a picture of the sun?
I try to look directly at the sun during the summer but always end up hurting my eyes. My question is, would my eyes experience the same pain if I look directly at a picture of the sun on my iPhone? Now, I know I'm not a professor or anything but clearly I'd go blind after looking at the picture after a good 7-8 seconds, right?

The sky around the Sun may still end up hurting your eyes because it contains high amounts of UV rays. Also, it may damage the camera on your phone because the Sun is too bright for a little camera without filters to handle. With the midday sun, you may only be able to stare at it for about 30 seconds before blindness begins. Don't take pictures or stare at the Sun. It damages your eyes.
Looking at a picture of the Sun will not damage your eyes, though. The screen on your phone does not contain the harmful level of radiation found in direct staring at the Sun.
- Sun and Moon not in the right place on sky guide app for iphone? I have checked the time on my settings and that is correct, but during the day the sun is shown on the other side of the world, and the moon is up and vice versa. Any ideas what's going on? Not life or death, just curious.
- Is the sun stone calendar Mayan or Aztec? I can't find a straight answer to this online. Is this sun calendar originally Mayan or Aztec? I know the Aztecs adopted and/or improved the Mayan calendar, but did the original Mayan version include the sun god in the middle?
- Is the burn on my arm infected? WARNING: GROSS! I fell asleep with my iPhone charging in bed with me last week… And I woke up with a big red circle that was warm on my arm. It blistered & then popped. It began to scab, but now the whole thing is white-ish yellow & when I put a band-aid on it it leaks a little icky stuff on it. Also it hurts very badly, and I feel like the pain is getting worse!
- Is tbere any major différence between thé iPhone 6 and the 6s? Whooppeee is Xmas again and my daughter wants new 2nd hand) iPhone… 2 years ago almost bought her 5 before i réaliséd that it was 5s she wanted ( cos thé 5 sucks?) And I don't want to screw up this year…
