Would it be okay to put logos of other companies in without permission in my art?
I'm joining this nationwide art competition in my country with the theme of "consumerism."
I'm planning on putting an iPhone on my artwork but instead it will say iDiot.
Will designing it in a slightly altered way avoid lawsuits? Do you think the competition will reject my entry if they saw a representation of the iPhone?
It will not be the main object in my piece, just a little accessory. Like really small.
If you alter the design of the iphone, it will be fine.ie: make the home button square, change the position of the front camera, etc. That is completely legal and great to include in your artwork!
- Would it be okay to put a Vodafone SIM card into a new Iphone X? I'm thinking about buying a sim free Iphone x then putting my current vodafone sim card into it. Would this cause any problems or eould it be okay? Id have to buy a new SIM card contract the year after, but I don't mind having to do that.
- Would I need permission to use quotes from a game? I'm in the middle of creating a soundboard application for the iPhone and the quotes are from the game: GTA: San Andreas. Yes I know its old; its a classic. I'm going to be selling the app for £0.69 and was wondering if I needed specific rights from Rockstar to use them. I don't want letters sending to me explaining I have a court date. Cheers for all your help, Chris
- Will my iphone info automatically sync without permission? I'm babysitting and I have my iphone plugged into their computer to charge. I just want to make sure all of my pictures won't upload to their computer. The computer is locked but it's still charging. I also put "don't trust" on the prompt that popped up on my phone about sharing with that computer. I just want to make sure lol.
- Where can you find the CC and LV logos that go on the back of quilted iPhone cases? I'm looking where you can buy the chrome Chanel and Louis Vuitton logos that you see on the back of the quilted iphone cases. I took one out of one I have and they aren't glued on. They have two things that bend kind of like a brad?
