Would syncing my iphone for the first time erase my data?
I have never synced it to an itunes since getting my iphone(4) earlier this year, i'm wondering if i sync it to a freshly installed itunes on a laptop will it erase all my data? (apps, contacts, etc.)
Also i have my music in a music downloader app. So is this risky?
Nowadays I believe the phone/iTouch is linked to a specific iTunes library, so if the iTunes library that you used to sync with your iPhone is different than the one you're trying to sync with now, it will prompt you and ask if you want to erase all your current iPhone data and re-sync it with the new.
- Will syncing my iPhone erase all of my data? My computer had a hard drive problem so they replaced my computer. I know syncing my iPhone (4s if it matters) to the computer will wipe the current music on my phone, which is fine. I just want to know if it will wipe my other data. Such as pictures, apps, things like that. I would just like to know if it does or not before I sync just so I can save my pictures and things to another place.
- What will erase and sync erase on my iphone? I wanted to connect my iphone to a new computer but it says erase and sync, what will it erase? All of the contents or just music?
- Syncing my iphone to a new itunes will it erase everything else besides my music? Okay I have a problem, my iPhone is already synced to an iTunes account but I want to sync it to a different one. All I want is the music and I'm afraid it will end up deleting everything off my phone like my contacts, pictures, messages, apps.i've already done it once before but i'm afraid it will delete everything because my friend tried syncing hers to a different account and it completely deleted EVERYTHING.
- Is tbere any major différence between thé iPhone 6 and the 6s? Whooppeee is Xmas again and my daughter wants new 2nd hand) iPhone… 2 years ago almost bought her 5 before i réaliséd that it was 5s she wanted ( cos thé 5 sucks?) And I don't want to screw up this year…
