YouTube won't play in background? IPhone 4?

I have an iPhone 4 and I can't get my YouTube to play in the background like when I hit the home button it turns off or when I lock it and press play it will play from my album from iTunes. I use the YouTube app. How can I get it to work?

Start the video, turn screen off, turn screen on, double tap dat home button, and hit play. There you go.

I don't think youtube can run in the background on an iphone.

  • YouTube videos won't play on iPhone? YouTube videos won't play. It just keeps loading. And also my safari and mail won't work as well. Whenever I go into safari it just flashes out. And when I go to mail it's just frozen and it flashes out after a while. If anyone knows how to fix this please tell me how? That would be a great help.
