4G compatible with iPhone 4s?
Is an iphone 4s able to use a sim card with 4g speed? (So if it was a sim only contract)

No 4g is not compatible with the 4s
IPhone 4S only provides support for 3G cellular networks. If you want 4G, you will need an iPhone 5.
No, apple did not upgrade to 4g capability until the iPhone 5.
