Air Plane trip? IPhone Wi-Fi?
I was wanting to listen to some music on the plane trip because it's about 3-4 hours long. I have 3G and data available so would Pandora work? If not what music apps could I use?
3G is not Wi-Fi. The brand of phone is irrelevant.
Some flights have Wi-Fi available. Some don't. Check with your airline. You may not (and probably can't) use 3G.
If your airline offers Wi-Fi, you can use sites like Pandora for a fee. If your airline does not offer Wi-Fi, you'll need to put your phone in airplane mode and listen to music you've downloaded or use downloaded apps that do not require an internet connection.
Pandora is not going to work unless you connect to Wi-Fi. When you get on the plane, you have to turn your iphone to airplane mode. If there's Wi-Fi available (probably going to cost a fee) then you can turn it on, on your iphone and connect to it. Pandora is streaming music and this requires internet (data or Wi-Fi)
- What's best iPhone app for tracking plane? I'm Mario what's best iPhone or android app, that I can track plane arrival & departures? Also is there app that I can record my sleep patterns & noise recording while I sleep, if there's what's it's called?
- What are some good iPhone 6 apps for a road trip? We're going on vacation tomorrow and my my fave me a $15 dollar iTunes card. What are some good apps that will last me the trip up and back?
- Using iPhone 4 as gps on road trip? I'm driving from MN to FL, and plan on using my iPhone 4 as a gps (using the google maps app). The trip is long, over 24 hours, and I'm wondering if the phone could overheat? Also, would roaming charges incur? I have AT&T as a carrier.
- Is it okay to use an iPhone for music and maybe games on a plane? I'm going to Georgia tomorrow morning and I was wondering if it's okay to use my iPhone. I just want to listen to music and maybe play games (but I'll probably get dizzy so most likely just music) so is it okay to do so? If it helps, my flight is on United Airlines. Do I just need to put it on Airplane mode?
