Am I safe receiving gifts on PayPal?

I'm selling an iPhone through PayPal. The buyer sent me a payment. It's clear. But his payment email address and the email address we talk on has different names. He wants me to ship the iPhone to him. But something's fishy. So my question is can PayPal take this gift (family and friends option) back?

What do you advise me?

Not unless if the guy orders a chargebacks claiming fraud on your iPhone and you're forced to return that money wast sent to you. Paypal can't do anything its the credit card or bank company who will order these things.

No; a gift is a gift. The odd bit is that he didn't ask you for an invoice first. He could just be inexperienced… Or he could be fraudulent. If you have concerns, ask him why the e-mail addresses are different (could be a perfectly reasonable explanation); and check the address to which you send the phone is Paypal verified AND you use a tracked, insured method of delivery.
