Are these things allowed in my Carry On?

So I'm going to Mexico and this is my first time ever taking the plane and yeah. (Don't judge me)

I was just wondering if the following items are allowed in my carry on bag?

-iPhone
-headphones
-digital camera
-pads
-refreshing wipes
-deodorant
-mini snacks (chips & candy)

Yes. The deodorant needs to be in a container no larger than 100ml (3.5 oz) and in a resealable plastic bag.

Correct answer from Ghost of Christmas Past.

All of these are fine - except,. As GOCP said - anything liquid, gel, etc. Need to be part of your 311 bag - every item less and 100 ml (3 oz.) and in a one-quart bag. Eye drops, lipstick/chapstick, hand sanitizer - all that stuff. You can read on the TSA website, on on the website of your airline. Have a great trip!

The deodorant might not be allowed depending on whether it is a gel or aerosol. If it is a solid just take it out at security just in case. Put all of the electronics in a different bin than your bag during the screening but it all sounds fine to me! Happy traveling!

Yes, all that is fine.

All are allowed.

Your electronics do not need to be taken out. Only laptops need to be taken out of the bag at security.

The deodorant is only an issue if it is gel or spray deodorant. In that case, the container must be 3.4oz or smaller, and must be placed in a 1qt clear baggie with any other liquid/gel items you might take in your carry-on. If it is solid deodorant, then it is not restricted.

EDIT: Empty water bottles are fine to take through security. Bottles of water that you buy after security can be taken on board. You can't take bottles of water through security.

+ iPhone. Yes.
+ headphones. Yes.
+ digital camera. Yes.
+ pads. Yes.
+ refreshing wipes. Yes.
+ deodorant. Yes. (Assuming solid. If liquid or gel type, no larger than 3.4 oz. (100 ml.

  • Why do so many kids these days have no respect for the things they get? A lot of kids these days get mad if they don't get a new iphone, ipad or laptop, game station, etc. When my friends and I were kids we and the other kids had legos, gameboys, Nintendos, and crayons with coloring books. But everything was appreciated. More kids were greatful then. Why aren't today's kids as greatful? Especially since everything works better now.
  • Is it ok to use Lysol disinfecting wipes on these things? 1. A round hairbrush 2. A jar of hair gel (closed) 3. A pair of sneakers 4. A pair of sandals 5. An iphone 6. A laptop screen
  • Is a teacher allowed to take things from students? I was at school sitting in the office waiting for my mom to pick me up for an orthodontist appointment. I was signed out of school for the day btw. After 20 minutes of waiting I got my iPhone out to text her and a teacher told me to put it away. I told him I'm checked out of school and waiting on my mom. He said he didn't care. He grabbed my arm an tried to take my phone. He was at that point hurting me so I kicked his nuts. I told him I was going to have him arrested. Can I?
