Best way to backup/save pictures?
What is the best way to backup my pictures. My last phone broke and I lost all of my photos. It was depressing. Now I just had my daughter, and it would kill me if something happened to the photos of her. I have an iPhone but don't know about iCloud or how it even works. So my question is should I use iCloud, or is there a good online gallery where I can store my photos in case my phone breaks?
It's very easy to save your phone's pictures on your computer. Look in the app store for apps that allow you to connect to your computer wireless. I have a Samsung Galaxy and have an app that lets me send stuff from my phone to my computer and vice versa. If you don't have a lot of computer savvy ask a friend who does to help you. You can also connect your phone to your computer using a USB cable. Then just create a folder or use the Pictures folder and copy the pictures to the folder. I much prefer backing up to my own computer than using a cloud service. If they go out of business or get hacked, your pictures could be gone forever.
Use iCloud. Just because you don't know anything about it doesn't mean you can't learn. It's no more difficult than posting a question here.
- When i backup my Itunes. Does it save my apps and the memory in my apps? I have to backup my Iphone 4 to Itunes because i'm afraid it's going to break again. I don't want to lose my information in my apps. Cause i have a music app with over 300 songs and i don't want to lose them and have to re download them? Any help
