I just bought a used iPhone 5 everything is OK but I can't log in my new Apple ID I'm a new iPhone user I haven't used one before?

So it says maximum number of free accounts have been activated on this phone so I can't log in my account I don't have any account that has been used on a previous iPhone other iPhone users can log into my phone but I can't please help

Did you get a new SIM card? If you are using a carrier other than Sprint, you need a new SIM. They are free if you go to an AT store, for instance.
