Breaking contract for AT&T costs?
I want to upgrade my non smart phone to an iPhone soon. My contract isn't up until September 2014 and I definitely can't wait that long. Even if I upgrade plans will I still have the steep costs for breaking contract? How much will it be? Any info helps, thanks;)
It depends on your cellular service provider's terms and the specific contract you signed.

You signed the latter, so it was your responsiblity to understand the terms of the agreement that you committed to. That's what signing a legal contract is about, whether it's a home mortgage, auto loan, credit card, rental agreement, etc.
As a matter of fact, without a doubt, there's a phrase toward the very end of your contract that essentially states, "I have read and understood the above items, and by signing below, I agree to these terms and conditions."
