BRING IPHONE 5 FROM USA TO INDIA?
I'm from INDIA. IPhone 5 in India costs above 50, 000 Rs approx. While in USA it starts from 199$ (10, 500 rs approx) to 399$ (21, 000 rs approx) according to the memory.
My Aunt is visiting India from USA in Dec, so can she bring IPHONE 5? Is it OK?

As you can see the iPhone 4s is priced 37, 500. How could you expect an iPhone 5 to be lesser than iPhone 4s.
Mate, $199 - $399 is when you buy it on contract which requires you to pay a bill to the carrier you got it from. Your aunt can't get it like that anyway because she needs to live in the States to go on a plan. On top of that, the phone will be locked to the carrier that she decided to get it from.
She has to buy it off contract (outright) which is basically unlocked out of the box. The problem is, the iPhone 5 can't be purchased off contract in the States. Not only that, even is she was able to buy it outright, the price will be increased by a lot. The iPhone 4S if you buy it outright is $550 (28, 425 Rs). Remember, that's the iPhone 4S price. The iPhone 5 will have a much higher price. Although much lower than 50, 000 Rs (probably about 35, 000 Rs).
There's nothing wrong with bringing an iPhone 5 from the States to India. But that's IF she buys the outright one which as I said, is not available in the States.
However, you can buy it from over here in Australia. It's still below the 50, 000 Rs price tag. The 16 GB model is about 42, 000 Rs here. But of course, that would require your Aunt to come here…
