Can a mgnet ruin the battery of an iPhone 4s?
I had my phone in my pocket last night and forgetting it was there I stuck my name tag in the pocket, when I pulled my phone out the name tag was stuck to it, I pulled it off and put it somewhere else.
I charged my phone last night to 96% and when I woke up this morning it was completely dead, did I ruin my phone?
You could possibly have done just that yes, because it will suck all the life right out of it; it's the same if you take a CD and a magnet, it will wipe the CD clean. If your battery doesn't start working again or doesn't seem as good as before I would call up apple and pretend like it wasn't your fault and don't mention the magnet, you might be able to stay under the warranty, just say that the battery is messed up and you don't know why
- Will using a knockoff iphone charging wall adapter ruin my iphone? I know that knockoff iphone chargers are bad for your iphone, but will a knock off wall adapter have any effect or harm the iphone?
- Will updating Iphone 3GS to ioS 6.0 ruin screw up my jailbreak? I don't know how to ask this… Sorry if my wording makes no sense. I have an Iphone 3GS, and I want to update it iOs 6.0, but won't that take the jailbreak or whatever off? And I will have to jailbreak it again?
- Will this ruin iPhone battery? I try to charge my phone battery up to 100% every charge, but sometimes if I need to go somewhere and use my phone, ill disconnect it when it is around 20-80%, come back pretty soon, and connect it again. Does doing this ruin the battery?
- Will taking the battery out of my Iphone ruin it? Not sure why I think it might, but i dropped my iphone in water and I was told I should take the battery out then put it in a bag of rice… For some reason I'm just worried I might ruin it. Will it?
