Can I open up an iPhone and dry it out?
I'm supposed to get my iPhone fixed tomorrow (smashed the screen) and being the idiot I'm, I dropped my iPhone in my toilet earlier and my touch screen won't respond. Can I just open it up, and dry it out? Will it work again after I get my new screen?
Was it on? If it was off, your chances might be better. I have accidentally run iPods through the wash in front loading machines before, and they survived. Try drying it out, it's worth a try.
