Will my iphone be ok over night till i dry it out in rice?
I won't be able to dry it out till tomorrow. I dropped it in a bucket of water. Will it still work?
Vacuum it, put it in rice for a week then see after that. If you turn it on now or too soon you'll fry your phone
It will work. But the screen brightness will be reduced very much and after restarting it also the brightness will be very low.
It might work. Although I've heard that those little silica gel packets work better than rice, if you can get you hands on any.
- Will the dry rice method still work for an iphone if it has been switched on? I dropped my phone in water and immediately took it out, dried it and turned it on to see if it worked. The phone worked but there was no sound so i googled what to do and i found the dry rice method but it said that you shouldn't turn on your phone but i did (maybe for ten mins?) so i turned it off and put it in a bag full of rice. Will the sound go back to normal because i turned on my phone? Should i put in the bag of rice with the back removed and battery exposed then?
- Should I get the iphone xs or xs max or wait till the iphone 11 comes out on September 20th? I have a Samsung galaxy 9. I have had an issue when I had to have a replacement phone sent to me and where a virus got on my phone and started sending me multi media messages from people I texted.
