Can i put a AT&T gophone sim card in my iphone 4?
I had an iphone 4 with AT&T and i stopped paying the bill, they said the account was canceled but i still had to pay the early termination fee before they could unlock it. So i went and bought a prepaid AT&T phone and i have been using it for a while. But i miss my iphone and i would like to know if i could just insert the prepaid sim card into the iphone 4 would it work and what would happen?
As you mentioned, you paid the ther termination fee.
Your phone will always support the same network SIM, however whrn you've paid the fee, you can ask AT&T to get your phone unlocked/unlatched.
Its a very simple process, they might ask you the security questions and the IMEI of your phone and will process the request over the call utself.
The max time frame to get your phone unlocked is 3 days, however the phone gets unlocked within a couple of hours and you also receive a notification over your E-mail address.
Once your phone is unlocked you need to connect it with I tunes and it'll confirm to supprt any network SIM that you want you use anywhere in thr world.
