Can I use my iPhone 4 wi-fi connection to give my desktop internet?

I have an iPhone with a internet connection over the wi-fi. Can I connect my desktop to the internet through my iPhones' connection?

Yes, its called tethering. If you had a jailbroken phone, I think there are apps for it. If its not jailbroken, last I heard you had to pay some sort of subscription for it, maybe.

My IPHONE had a defect, still under warranty, so I took it to an Apple MAC store and after a few days they gave it back, supposedly repaired.
