Can you still download on an iphone with no phone plan?
I want to buy an IPhone 5 for $214 I think on gazelle.com but I don't wanna pay for a phone plan I just wanna be able to download apps and music. I'm not old enough to actually pay a phone bill each month and I know my grandmother wouldn't want to pay my bill. Is it possible to just use an iPhone for downloading apps and music but not to call people?
You can using Wi-Fi not mobile data.
As long as you are connected to Wi-Fi, you can download apps and music. You won't be able to call because your phone wouldn't be connected to a carrier.
You can also consider getting an iPod Touch which is like an iPhone but without the calling.
Yes with Wi-Fi, you can also use imessage and facetime and it would be just like an ipod touch, but why not just get a new ipod touch then? If buying the phone make sure its not icloud locked.
