Connected my iPhone to my mac for the first time?
I don't really know what this does, will my messages be sent to my mac? Will my photos go straight to my mac? I want to keep the two devices separate, the only reason i connected the two was to sync music to my iPhone.
There's an option to sync music only, you can untick the boxes that appear on the left hand side of itunes when you connect your phone that say "sync photos" etc
You can use iTunes to copy things to and from your phone as well as creating a backup in case anything goes wrong and you need to install. Messages won't be sent to your Mac unless you open up the Messages app on your Mac and set up your Apple ID on it.
- Would syncing my iphone for the first time erase my data? I have never synced it to an itunes since getting my iphone(4) earlier this year, i'm wondering if i sync it to a freshly installed itunes on a laptop will it erase all my data? (apps, contacts, etc.) Also i have my music in a music downloader app. So is this risky?
- Wi-Fi Connected - but no internet on devices connected? Hi, The Problem is - i set up a wireless network today for my Iphone 5 and my blackberry, from my main desktop at home, and all went well and Both are connected to it, as well as my laptop. But now whenever i try using the internet on these devices ( iphone etc ) it does not work, although the main desktops internet is working… Can anyone help me? I'm using WINDOWS 7.
- My iphone says i'm connected to Wi-Fi but when i try to run something it says i'm not connected? My phone shows signal, it has a check mark by the device but when i try to open an app it says can't find a connection.
- Is tbere any major différence between thé iPhone 6 and the 6s? Whooppeee is Xmas again and my daughter wants new 2nd hand) iPhone… 2 years ago almost bought her 5 before i réaliséd that it was 5s she wanted ( cos thé 5 sucks?) And I don't want to screw up this year…
