Does backing up my iPhone on iTunes save the passcode?
Added (1). I forgot my passcode but my last backup was in November 2014. If I backup my phone now and then restore it, will the passcode for my phone be saved? I don't want to save the passcode but I would like to backup my photos if possible.
When I had an iPhone 4s I too also performed a system restore from a backup file I had and YES it did restore the phone to the previous password. Good luck with your pictures, if you can't back them up on your phone you can always manually save them on your PC by opening your iPhone's hard drive and copying and pasting the pictures and videos folder on to your desktop.
- What does 'Backing up your Ipod/Iphone' do? So in a few weeks i'm getting a new iphone. Right now I have the Iphone 4, and Ipod 5. When ever I plug in my Ipod or Iphone into my MacBook at the top it always says Backing Up. I want to know what this is. And everything it does. Will it be a bad idea since me and my Mom share a computer? Also is there a way I can get all my apps, photos, notes, etc on to my new phone without re-downloading everything?
