Does Verizon work in the uk?

I'm going on holiday to the uk and live in the USA and I'm on Verizon. I have the iPhone 4 will it work in uk? If that won't work will at and t work in the uk?

You will either have to.change your plan or better, rent one once you get there.

No it won't work

Verizon is a CDMA network so does NOT use sim cards

The UK which is a part, albeit small part of the great nation as you Americans fondly call us "The rest of the world" is GSM

GSM use sim cards so the Verizon IP4 won't work,

IP4S & IP5 are "world phones" and have BOTH CDMA & GSM built in

We may be a small nation and may even fit into some US Sates but please as a proper noun "UK"

An unlocked! AT&T phone TMobile as a GSM network WILL work in the UK [or even the uk 3 times & USA capitals… I'm kidding]
