Factory unlocking an iphone?
Could I get a iPhone (At&t) from the apple store online, and then factory unlock it through someone on eBay? I see the service all the time. A already factory unlocked black one is only like 200 on eBay, but I really want the white one which seem to be more expensive.
You can factory unlock any iphones on AT&T through @chronic on twitter. Ask him and he will tell you the price of it, he's safe. Not scam. Happy unlocking!
Well no one other than AT&T (in this case) can factory (permanently) unlock an iPhone. There are software methods but these go away if the phone is updated or restored.AT&T nowadays factory unlocks out of contract iPhones though.
