Has someone successfully downgraded their iphone 5 from ios 7 back to ios 6.1.4?

I was wondering because I'm trying to update to ios 7, but thinking if I don't like it, I'll just restore back to a previous back up of ios 6.1.4

Ios 7 hasent been released for general public
It has been released only for developers account
you can't upgrade to ios 7 right now
So no chance of downgrading!

It is only safe to install iOS 7 if you've registered your device's UDID on a site like http://www.instantudid.com/. Apple periodically checks your device to make sure it's authorized to run the beta, and they will disable it if they catch you without a UDID registration. It's only $5 and I haven't had any issues on my 4S.

If you have your UDID registered, you'll also be able to downgrade to iOS 6 without a problem.

Those answers are wrong I have ios 7 without a developer account.download the update or restore I think it's restore but download from this site or any of your choice http://m.iclarified.com/entry/index.php?enid=750 choose your device and save it.
I would backup your device and copy everything to your computer because EVERTHING will be erased when you restore. After you do that go to iTunes, plug your device and where it says restore click on it while holding (shift for windows) and (command I think for mac) On mac or windows there should be the window, and from there look for the software you downloaded. Then restore. After that is done choose your option: set up as new device or from back up. (If you restore from a back up and nothing is there then choose a different backup)
This will only work until ios 7 is released.

I'm running the beta 3, has some minor bugs but looks good. Give it a try, if you don't like it, you can switch back to 6.1.4.

How to go back to 6-

Put phone in dfu mode (google it if you don't know how to do it)
Select restore phone from itunes
