Have you ever dropped your iphone in water?
Please don't tell me how it sucks or OMG throw it away… Because I'm not asking for that
Does anyone know what to do if a phone particularly an iphone 4 falls in water… More specifically a toilet?
I dropped my phone into the toilet. It slipped out of my pocket and I took it out Really fast like 4 seconds maybe less and then immediately dried it with a towel and then ran and put it in rice!
Do you think I have chance of it surviving?
Do you have an experience you can share, or some advice you can offer?
I've dropped my phone in a pool, and after like three seconds, i took it out as fast as i could, and dried it off. It was fine. But you should make sure no water gets in to cracks of the phone.
Nope don't own one but i have some advice that would maybe help. Do you have dried rice or beans? Well if you do leave your phone in a bowl filled with that, and that helps it dry the phone up and work again, do it as soon as possible though, good luck. Plus this happened to my phone before with a similar design of an iphone, a bit thicker. Hope i helped
Lmao I know a few people who have done that. I once had an ipod that went through the washing machine, we put it by a heating vent and let the water dry out, after a few weeks it worked awesome! I'm not sure if itll work with the iphone tho… You can try. I also heard if you put it in a bag of rice and close the bag that'll save it too (rice absorbs water) but I've never tried nor do I know anywone who does. Good luck!
And yes I have dropped my iphone in water, although it was very little and had no effect on it
My 1 1/2 year old dipped my iPhone 4 in a pool for a couple seconds and my phone still works perfectly fine.
Its broken and nothing you can do about except pay tim cook money for a new one.
Or you can become a cool kid and buy an android smartphone
Take out the battery, cover, and sim card and put all the parts in a bowl of dry, uncooked rice.
Do NOT try to turn it on until the screen is visibly clear of water.
After I dropped it in a pond it took my Droid phone about a week before it worked again, but it still does.
If you took the battery out and put it in rice, it should be fine. Just let it stay in the rice for 24 hours.
- What would you do if you were watching your favorite show, and your 20 year old kid turned off the TV so that you couldn't watch it? I pay all the bills at the house. I normally watch AHS once a week with my kid. This week, she told me to go watch it in my own room. I told her my TV wasn't working and we would just have to watch it in her room. She turned off the TV so that I couldn't watch it. Then, she pompously pulled out her iPhone and proceeded to watch it on her iPhone. What would you do if this happened to you?
- People who have an iPhone 4S: Have you ever told Siri to go ma$turbate? I did and she said "we're talking about you, not me" how did she know? This is the first sexual question in the 7 questions i asked tonight.
- If you've ever been cheated on, how did you feel and what did you do? I've never caught a partner cheating on me yet, but I think if I did I would have to cause them a lot of problems. What did you do about a cheating partner?
- I dropped my Iphone in water - no water damage showing on indicator? Here is the situation. I dropped my Iphone 5 in the toilet (I hadn't peed yet so all good there). Immediately switched it off, dried it and put it in a bag of rice. This was at about 6 p.m yesterday. This morning without turning it on I opened up the sim compartment to check the circle for water damage (checked online and apparently this is where to check for water damage). The indicator was white. It is back in the rice but I was wondering - when you think it will be ok to turn back on?
