Hooking up my iPhone 5 to my car?
My car does not have a cassette tape or an aux in. It does have a cigarette lighter, and I do know that I can get something for that. The only problem is that there aren't any (or any that I can find) that are compatible with the iPhone five and can charge my phone and play through my stereo.
The only way you can play your iPhone through your stereo is to install a car radio that has Bluetooth capability. Then you can synch the radio with your phone and listed to your tunes all day long. Keep the cigarette lighter for charging the phone.
I would say that it's time to get a new head unit for your car. It's going to have an aux in and a usb plugin as well. Plus your music will sounds tons better.

But i'm wondering what good speakers for cars are. Not the brand but what the Best Features are for car speakers. I would also need to get a iPod/iPhone-Ready CD Deck, so I also need to know good brands and features for that.
- How to charge my iPhone in my car without an actual car charger? I'm going on a long road trip. Since the iPhone battery doesn't usually last long, i was wondering if there's another way to charge my phone without a car charger. Because my lighter doesn't work due to a broke fuse in my fuse box… Anyway- is there any alternative to keeping my phone charged?
- Is there a car jack to plug into my iPhone to listen to music in the car? So I have been wanting to listen to music through my iPhone in the car for awhile now since burning CDs is not something I specialize in. Is there a car jack for this so that I can play music over the stereo system? I have a 2004 Volvo XC90 if it helps. -Thanks!
