How do read receipts work on iPhone?
Does the read receipt show it's been read when they read the text, or when they read the notification of the text? Cos the notification is half the text.
It works when they read the text in the Messages App.
If you send them a message, and they only see the Notification of it, your iPhone will still say "Delivered" until they read it.
Now keep in mind that the other person has to have Read Receipts enabled. If it is only enabled on your iPhone, then they'll be able to see when you've read their message(s).
It lets the person you texted know when you have read the text they sent you

- Will any SIM card work on my iPhone 7? (read details)? I recently purchased an iPhone 7 on eBay and I can't really do anything to it. It's on the setup screen and when I try to get past it, it says "SIM Required". The phone is Sprint locked, I believe. I don't really have the money at the moment to buy an overpriced SIM card from Sprint + activation. Does anyone know if I buy any Micro SIM, will it work? IS there anything I can do without spending a bunch of money? ANY SUGGESTIONS WILL BE APPRECIATED!
- IPhone5 read 5%, plugged in to charge then instantly read 26%? It's been doing this a lot lately. Earlier it read 37% and I restarted it and it read 63%. Do I have a bad battery or is the percentage reader just not accurate?
- Iphone 4 Read Receipts accuracy? Okay so I have an iPhone 4 with IMessage and I have read Receipts turned on. But I'd like to know how accurate read receipts are. What does it go based off of? How does it know you really read it? I do it a lot with my boyfriend and there are times hell say "you read that like 20 mins ago" even if I just picked up my phone and saw. How accurate is it?
