Will any SIM card work on my iPhone 7? (read details)?
I recently purchased an iPhone 7 on eBay and I can't really do anything to it. It's on the setup screen and when I try to get past it, it says "SIM Required". The phone is Sprint locked, I believe. I don't really have the money at the moment to buy an overpriced SIM card from Sprint + activation. Does anyone know if I buy any Micro SIM, will it work? IS there anything I can do without spending a bunch of money? ANY SUGGESTIONS WILL BE APPRECIATED!
Sprint locked means you can only use it on Sprint. Putting in another sim card will do nothing unless you get Sprint to unlock it.
If it is locked then Sprint would have to be involved in the activation. Not sure of the specifics how a SIM is involved since Sprint is a CDMA carrier & as far as I know the SIM is only for LTE coverage.
Only a Sprint SIM card will work.
IF you can get the iPhone unlocked by Sprint, you can try another SIM card.However, Sprint is really hesitant to let you unlock your phone. Sometimes, their representatives don't even know what they are talking about. And even if you get it unlocked, there's no guarantee that a Sprint iPhone will work with another carrier.
Another thing: If the iPhone was still activated on another person's account, Sprint will not unlock it unless you have their account PIN, which I don't think most people will give you OR if that person replaces that phone with another phone. I know its complex, but that's the way Sprint does things.That's why I try to avoid Sprint phones as much as possible.
- Will cutting my sim card work to use as a micro sim card? I just ordered an iPhone 4 and I need to cut the sim card to make it a Micro sim. Will it affect it. I have seen a bunch of video and already have the template it for it. I'm using simple mobile. Do you know if anything wrong happen to it?

The phone still has her sim card though and i have t mobile prepaid and want to switch my service to the iphone can i do that? Do i have to unlock it?
- Is there any app for tracking my iphone if it gets stolen? Read Details? Like if someone steals my iphone at school i can go on the website and track it, find EXACTLY where it is so i can go to the place and get it back? Oh i do have Find My iPhone on, but one time when my dad took it to the store and didn't come back i got on the icloud web and to see where my iphone was to see where my dad was and it was worthless!
