How much is 2gb of Internet?
I just got and iPhone 5 for my birthday and I don't have unlimited Internet I only have 2gb and I want to know how much that is because I'm so scared to use the Internet when I'm not home because that seems like a little and I don't want to go over and have to pay but my mom is always on her Internet and she said she doesn't even use 1 so if you guys could help please and thanks

1 GB= 1000 MB
The same as 2 GB on your hard drive.
Browsing the web hardly uses any
Streaming music uses a decent amount
GPS Apps use a decent amount
Streaming video uses a ton
2GB actually stretches surprisingly far on a phone - as long as you're not streaming netflix 24/7 you'll probably be fine.
Many phone companies offer special apps you can download that will tell you how much data you've used for the month - some of them will even automatically give you warnings and even cut your connection if you get too close to your limit.
If there's no app available your phone company may still offer to text you when you get close to your limit.
Well, it is 2048 MB and you're right that is not very much. Downloading, watching
movies, playing video and such is what eats up your user data.
If you had 200/300 MB you would have to worry, but 2 GB is a lot of data. (Unless you're streaming movies every day.) I know if you have AT&T, they send you a text when you are closing in on your data limit.
- What happens if i go over 2gb at&t? I just bought my iphone 4s with 2gb a month. I'm really nervous as to go over. I had 115mb in one day! Is it siri taking my data or what? I did download about 100mb in games on my 4g network could that be it? Does it take data for the games/apps i download if i'm not on Wi-Fi. I just want help on how to manage my data and apps and basically what happens if i go over my 2gb a month. Don't answer unless you know. I will best a answer if they help please i need help so bad.
- Other taking up 2.2GB on Iphone 4? I've restored my phone and deleted my apps and photos and there's still this huge block of yellow on my itunes screen that shows "Other" taking up that room on my phone. What is this other? Why is it taking up so much space? Can I find out what it is somehow?
- Is the 2GB data plan on Verizon enough for iPhone 4s? I'm switching providers soon and I want Verizon and to get the iPhone 4s but I noticed you pay for however much data you use. It's not unlimited? So do you think the 2GB data plan is enough? I do go on the internet a lot on my phone now such as Facebook and Tumblr. I take a lot of pictures and have a lot of apps. I'm just afraid I'll go over and then my dad will have to pay more… It's already expensive enough.

I don't have a Facebook, tumblr, twitter, etc. Any of those things. At school I have Internet on my iPod so i would be using the Internet on my iPod. Do you think I will go over?
