How much will this iPhone cost a month?

I'm 15 and always been stuck with tracfones and my parents say they might try to get a iPhone for me. Well we were in walmart and it said the cost of a iPhone 4S was 0.97* and it said 26 month contract and 598$ overall and 22.37 or something like that a month. So does that mean that I pay 97 cents for the phone and 22.37$ a month for 26 months? Thats what i think but i'm asking because they never had a contract phone either

First of all that price 0.97 is for a 2 year contract. That price does not include your monthly plan. Most contract plans with a smartphone like the iphone will cost around 70 to 80 dollars a month with a 2 year contract. Can you afford to pay that much each month for 2 years?

Also since you are 15 years old, you are too young to even get services with a contract service. You have to 18 years old or over to get a contract plan and a discount for any smartphone.
