How to clean out my Iphone 5 charging port?

I got mashed potatoes in it last night and now it won't charge… No smartass answers please. Yes i can't see the potatoes anymore but it still won't charge. I don't have a warranty on my phone. So taking it to the apple store would be a pain in the ***. And if I did have to take it to the store how much would that cost me?

Are you sure you don't have a warranty on it? The iPhone 5 was released on Sept. 13 2012.It's not even been a year, and Apple always have a one year warranty on their devices after purchase.

Follow the link on the bottom and see what's inside. Remember, if you do still have a warranty, opeing it will cause you to lose that warranty.

Don't forget the gravy!

  • Why port forwarding on port 80? I have a foscam home security camera and it needs port forwarding on port 80 if I want to use my iphone to view it from outside. Surely enough, it works as soon as I open that port. But isn't port 80 open by default? Else how could I view http websites in the first place. I don't get it. It's already open so why open it again?
  • What is different of the new iPhone 5 charging port? Since the iPhone 5 has a new charging port that is smaller than the original, is the charging port the same as the Andriod charging port? Or is it completely different? I have an Andriod phone and I was wondering if I was able to get the iPhone 5, will I be able to use my Andriod chargers for the iPhone 5? What is different about the iPhone 5 charging port?
