How to convince my parent for an Iphone?
Ok so I got a flip phone for Christmas. I know it wasn't that long ago but my phone's battery goes down to 5% even when it was fully charged with the brightness on the lowest brightness setting. It is really aggravating when I have to charge it 2 -4 times a day. I get good grades ( all A's and 2 B's ) , do loads of chores and I'm responsible with my things. Everyone in my school has an Iphone and everytime I see their Iphones I feel really left out knowing that I don't have one. I have most of the money ( $ 40 short ) I'm willing to sell my flat screen tv to get the money for the monthly plan. I rarely get rewards for doing good things. My parents are the strict overprotective type who say no to a lot of things but I feel that since my family recently got rid of our home phone my 11year old brother should have my current phone for the times he is home alone. ( If there are any mean comments I will give you a thumbs down ) I have always been responsible w/ my things except for 1 time when I lost my phone 3 days ago and I still have not found it

Why would you want an iPhone? There not that great and are extremely over priced and over rated. If you want to convince your parents, don't ask for a 600 dollar phone that is bound to crack within a month.
If you want a smart phone get something like the HTC One m8 or LG G2, they are currently the 2 greatest smart phones you could buy. Did I mention that they are CHEAPER the the less advanced iPhone?
And as for convincing your parents… Just say that you'll do extra work or try to improve your grades a little bit.
Do all the research yourself so they don't need to do any of it. Find the cheapest deal and plan to show them the cost, money doesn't grow on trees so you may have to give up some things (use imessage or apps for texting, etc., to lower the monthly plan, get iphone 4S which is free with a 2 year contract).
5S is definitely the best but if money is an issue then 4S being free on a 2 year contract is hard to beat.
Me personally would go with the iPhone but that's because my dad will buy anything for me but they do crack real easily, and you CAN find a 4s or 5 cheap at a store since there outdated but if you want an android I would go with the one of the galaxy(s2-s3) phones
I don't understand why so many teens have to ask this separately. They basically say the same thing - I get good grades and do my chores (you kind of have to do those things) so why can't I get an iPhone? I don't know - I'm a total stranger. It wouldn't be my call anyway. You could have read answers given to the last 100 or so teens to have asked this question on this site. Are you so willing to pay forobile internet when you don't know how to use a search engine?
- Will a phone company allow me to get an iPhone with no credit? But a parent to sign off on it I'm 18 and I want to get my own phone line on my own account. I do not have a credit score. Will Sprint allow me to get an iPhone without a credit score? Will they allow it if my mom signs off on it?

- My parent won't give me privacy? They touch my iphone without my permission, enter my room without my permission. When i go to school they read my text message and my facebook. They keep track and Monitoring my what i say, what i post on my facebook. They don't allow me to pot passcode to lock my iphone ( this make them easier to read my stuff!)
- My contacts keep changing into my parent's contacts? I'm using my Dad's old iPhone 4, so it has all of his data. I cleared out everything that was his but I hate the part where each time my parent's add a new contact to their phone, everything syncs over to my contacts, so I'm scrolling down my list and see a new person I don't know but my parents do. Is there a way to change this?
