How to delete photos from my iphone 5?

So i just got an iphone 5 and when I got it to restore all the stuff from my old ipod touch, all my apps and pictures came onto the phone along with the pictures from my actual camera from my computer! So now I have over 2000 photos on my phone taking up 10 GB! And the phone is only 13GB anyway. But it won't let me delete those pictures, but is there anyway to get them off my phone and only on my computer?

Just use windows explorer, thats what I do for bulk deleting or copying.

Plug it into your computer and open iTunes and click your phoneon the upper right corner, click photos and sync with a folder that is empty or the new pictures or images you want to keep in your phone. After syncronising the old photos will all be replaced or gone if the folder is empty.

Yes there's actually the best way is to use iTunes and on the summary tab of your iPhone there should be a sub tab that says Photos just click on that and unselect it it will ask you if you want to delete all your photos on your iPhone (Warning this will delete All of your photos so if you got some you wanna keep make sure you back them up b4 doing this) but if that fails then you can plug your iPhone to your computer and go to "my computer" and click on your iPhones tab and keep clicking on the folders until you see all your pics (your computer will recognize your iPhone as a camera so you won't delete any important files) there you may select all your pics and manually delete all your pics in one blow (also its best if you eject your iPhone if you do this and not just unplug it from your computer since you did a device modification)
