How to fix my old IPhone 3GS?

My old IPhone 3GS won't fully turn on! It has showed the apple sign for about three days now, we took it to gte fixed but it only made it worst! Does anyone have a way i could fix it?

Hmm… Sounds like a jailbreak problem. Try resetting it on the computer (iTunes required)
then see if it works. If it doesn't

  • Old iPhone with old sim card? Mum just got a new iPhone, so gave her old one to my sister. My sister did not have an appropriate sized sim card, so they guy at the store cut it down. Mum's new sim card is working, but when we put my sisters in the old phone, it just keeps saying no service. What do we do? Can we use it or not?

  • I've been so fustrated with trying to get my old iCloud account off my old iPhone I forgot the password and recovery key to my iCloud account. I've called Apple and sent a receipt for proof of purchase, but they said it's invalid, because the SN doesn't match which doesn't make sense. Is there another way to just erase everything off the phone myself?
