How to get music from MacBook Pro to IPhone 5?

I've seen that you can use USB ports and such to get music and such from iTunes from iPhone to Mac, but how about music burned from CDs on a Mac to a iPhone? I'm unsure if you can do so, but if you can; help?

Put the music in Itunes and Sync…

Like CrabFISHER said. Do it like this…

Yes, You can use iTunes to rip the CD to your iTunes library first, and then sync your iPhone with iTunes, the music will be transferred to your iPhone.

So far, every program I have tried doesn't register that my iPhone is even connected.
