How to make my iphone a Wi-Fi hotspot for FREE?

I have iphone 4 7.0.4. Please font say tethering or go to settings because that's not free. Any help so I can get on xbox live?

There's no way to make it free, the only way to use the mobile hotspot is if you pay for the service.

This non-free program claims to set up tethering for iPhone so you don;t need an EXTRA data plan. But it's always gonna use your iPhone's cell connection - that's what tethering is.

BTW if you have wired internet in your house, just add a Wi-Fi router to that. Go to Best Buy or Walmart or Kmart and buy a broadband Wi-Fi router and add it to your wired internet at home. Set it up with its out network name and security aka WEP/WPA2 key.
